
Okay… we need to talk.
It’s been a few more weeks…
and if I’m being honest?
👉 Still no weight loss.
sigh.
The Frustrating Part
I think this is the point where people expect me to say:
- the weight is falling off
- my energy is amazing
- everything has changed
But that’s just… not my reality right now.
What HAS Changed
Even though the scale isn’t moving much:
- I’m still eating less
- I’m not constantly thinking about food
- I get full faster
- my cravings are definitely different
So SOMETHING is happening.
Just apparently not at lightning speed 😅
The Mental Battle
This is honestly the hardest part.
Because when the scale doesn’t move, it’s easy to feel like:
👉 “what’s the point?”
But then I remind myself:
This isn’t just about the number.
It’s also about:
- habits
- hormones
- insulin resistance
- sleep
- stress
- all the things nobody talks about enough
And Speaking of Sleep…
Still not loving the mouthguard 😂
Still trying.
Still occasionally giving it side-eye before bed.
What I’m Trying to Remember
Progress doesn’t always show up immediately.
And sometimes your body is doing a whole lot behind the scenes before the scale catches up.
At least that’s what I’m telling myself this week 😅
Final Thoughts
Am I frustrated?
Absolutely.
Am I giving up?
No.
Even if this process is slower than I wanted… I’m still showing up.
And honestly?
That counts too.
