The Cozy Gigi Update: Apparently I’m a Scientist Now 😂

Well, the CGM is officially on!

And I have learned one very important thing so far:

I have absolutely no idea what I’m looking at. 😂

Okay, that’s not completely true. I’m starting to figure it out, but there’s definitely a learning curve.

I’ve been watching what happens after my regular iced coffee, meals, snacks and everything in between. And I’m already realizing that the number itself isn’t the whole story. I’m learning to look at the pattern—where I started, how high I went, how quickly it happened and how long it took to come back down.

I’ve also learned that these little sensors can be a bit dramatic. One minute I’m looking at a number thinking, “Well, that’s interesting…” and 15 minutes later it’s somewhere completely different. 😂

But that’s exactly why I wanted to try this.

After spending so much time focusing on the scale, I wanted another way to understand what’s actually happening in my body.

I’m not trying to have a perfectly flat glucose line or label foods as “good” or “bad.” I’m curious about my patterns.

Does my beloved iced coffee send things flying? ☕️
What happens when I eat protein first?
What does spaghetti do?
What about a workout?
And why does my body sometimes seem to have its own agenda entirely? 😂

I’ve already had a couple of readings that made me go, “Wait… WHAT?” and I’m learning that one CGM reading doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong. Context matters—and I’m still learning what normal looks like for me.

So that’s where we are this week.

No grand conclusions. No revolutionary discovery.

Just me, my CGM, my coffee and approximately 47 checks of the app because apparently I have a new hobby. 😂

I’ll keep sharing what I learn as I go—including the things that surprise me.

Same Gigi. New gadget. More data. Still figuring it out. ❤️

Comfort, confidence & a little chaos.
