Week 6 on GLP-1: Showing Up… Even When I Don’t Love It

Well… here we are at week 6.

And honestly?

This week feels a lot like the others — steady, not dramatic, just kind of moving along.


The Honest Truth

Not a lot of big changes again.

No huge “wow” moment.

Just consistency… and learning patience (which is not my strong suit 😅)


Let’s Talk About This Mouthguard…

Okay… we need to talk about it.

Because I still hate it.

Like… really hate it.

I know it’s supposed to help with my sleep apnea, and I know it’s important…

But if I’m being honest?

👉 Some nights I just don’t wear it.

It’s uncomfortable, it’s annoying, and I’m still trying to get used to it.


Real Life Moment

And I’m sharing that because this whole journey?

It’s not perfect.

It’s not:

✔ doing everything right every single day
✔ loving every part of the process

It’s:

👉 trying
👉 adjusting
👉 sometimes skipping things and starting again the next night


Everything Else Going On

At this point I’ve got:

  • GLP-1 (week 6)
  • increased dose
  • estrogen patch
  • and this mouthguard situation 😅

So yeah… my body has a lot going on.


How I’m Feeling

Some days are better than others.

Still not that big energy shift I expected yet, but I’m hanging in there.


What I’m Focusing On

Right now:

  • staying consistent overall
  • giving myself some grace
  • not quitting just because it’s not perfect

Final Thoughts (Week 6)

This week wasn’t exciting.

It wasn’t perfect.

But I’m still here.

Still trying.

And honestly… that counts.
