Feeling Good After Fifty

Hair Extensions

I’ve been going back and forth about hair extensions for months.

Like a lot of women in their 50s, my hair isn’t quite what it used to be. It’s not that I was going bald or had major thinning, but I noticed my part looked wider, my ends looked thinner, and my hair just didn’t have the fullness it once did.

I considered a topper, and while I loved the extra coverage, the one I tried felt heavier than I wanted. I wanted something that looked natural and felt like my own hair.

After a lot of research, consultations, and more questions than I can count, I decided to try a combination of wefts and V-light extensions. The goal wasn’t longer hair—it was fuller hair.

I wanted soft shoulder-length waves, more volume around my face, and a little help at my crown without looking overdone.

Today is installation day, and I’m excited, nervous, and hopeful all at the same time.

I’ll be sharing before and after photos, how the installation process went, what it cost, how comfortable it feels, and whether I think it was worth it.

Stay tuned for the update!

Love,The Cozy Gigi
